Posted Date: 03/31/26 (11:00 AM)

Community Cafe - April 8th - Save the Date!

Our school community is committed to providing a supportive environment for students as they navigate the complexities of grief and personal loss. We know that many of our students are facing various forms of loss that may include:
  • The death of a loved one
  • The transition of family separation or divorce
  • A serious personal or family illness
  • The frustration of an injury the disrupts college or career plans
Each of these experiences impacts a student's well-being and their journey through high school. To help us better understand these challenges, Baker High School invites you to join us for a Community Café: Navigating Student Grief.
Student volunteers from Baker High School's Key Club will be available with crafts and coloring as a child care option for families who want to attend this event
We are honored to welcome guest presenters from Hope for Bereaved, who will share expert insights into how grief uniquely manifests in teenagers. This session is designed to equip families, caregivers, community members and staff with the language and tools needed to provide meaningful support during difficult times, and offer conversation about how our community can provide support.
  • When: April 8th at 6:00 PM
  • Where: Baker High School Cafeteria
Please join us for what we hope will be an informative and engaging evening for our entire community. We look forward to seeing you there.
