End of Year Information - Includes Regents and Graduation

 

Monday 6/15 and Tuesday 6/16

-Monday, June 15th - Locker Clean-Out - Students will clean out lockers on Monday and Tuesday during BeeTime.
  • Encourage your children to bring all of their items home from school.
  • All items left in lockers will be removed and discarded on July 1st.

-Tuesday, June 16th - ID Badges - ID badges will be collected from all students on Tuesday.
  • If your student has any extra ID badges floating around at home, send them to school for collection.

Dismissal is at 2:20pm on 6/15 and 6/16.
 

Working Papers - Summer 2026

Students should get their working papers for the summer prior to June 25th. If you need to obtain working papers over the summer the hours are limited.

Starting June 30th hours for working papers are:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2:30pm in the Baker Nurses Office.
 

Material Return - All Call

All students will need to return their District-issued materials, TI-NSPIRE calculators, textbooks and library books on the dates listed below. Instrument return dates will be communicated by our music teachers.

Materials Return Date
Monday, June 15th

TI-NSPIRE calculators will be returned to math teachers, library books will be returned to the library, and instruments to music teachers. Textbooks will be returned to the content area teacher who issued the text.  

Chromebook Return for Seniors Only
Baker seniors will also need to return their chromebooks and chargers on June 15th to the library. Staff will be available throughout each the day in the library to collect these devices.

Extensions for Chromebook Return
Seniors may have an extended deadline to return their Chromebook if either of the following conditions apply:

  1. The student is taking a NYS Regents exam and needs their Chromebook to study for the exam; or
  2. The student has made arrangements with a teacher to complete late work, which must be turned in by Wednesday, June 24th. 

Students that need to take advantage of the extended deadline can turn their devices and chargers in at the following times:

Wednesday, June 24th-Friday, June 26th
Baker Attendance Office
8-10 am; 12-2 pm

Invoices will be issued for materials that are not returned by the end of the day on Monday, June 15th. A $200 fine will be issued for a missing Chromebook and a $40 fine will be assessed for a missing charger. A $140 fine will be issued for a missing TI-NSPIRE calculator. In addition, any senior that does not return their chromebook, chromebook charger, and TI-NSPIRE calculator by Monday, June 15th will need to report to the Baker Main Office after June 20th to receive their diploma. It will not be issued at graduation.
 

Regents Exam Infomation

June 17th-June 25

Major Update: All Regents Exam are at Durgee Junior High School.
  • Buses will drop off and pick up Baker students at Durgee.
  • If you are driving to Durgee you can park in the stadium lot. It is closer that the lot behind Baker.
  • All students must enter Durgee through the main entrance and go through the same security screening procedures as at Baker.

Class of 2026 Graduation (June 20th, 2026 at 1pm) Information

The Graduation Ceremony is on June 20th, 2026 at 1pm. This event is not ticketed or limited to a certain number of guests.

Arrival:
  • Doors open for seating at 11:30am.
  • Students need to be backstage at 12:15pm.
  • Procession starts at 1:00pm and the ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours.
Dress:
  • Students should dress nicely following the code of conduct
  • Students need to bring their cap, gown and tassel.
  • All gowns must be zipped when processing and crossing the stage
  • Caps are tossed at the end of the ceremony. Please write your child's name in their cap.
  • Caps can be decorated but I ask that nothing is dangling off the edge and the decoration must be school appropriate.

Student cell phones need to be off and away during the ceremony.

Later this week you will receive information about graduation photos and where you child will be seated at graduation so you can plan accordingly.

Our Junior Class will sell flowers and other graduation themed gifts outside of the Expo Center on graduation day. Families can pre-order gifts and flower bouquets to pick up on site. Here is the pre-order link.
