Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,
This week our district celebrated Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week to recognize the hard work and dedication of our amazing staff members. Each and every member of our Hive plays an important role in meeting the needs of our students to empower them to thrive and achieve.
Thank you for going above and beyond for our students. Your passion, commitment and care are commendable. Every day you inspire, motivate and leave lasting impacts on our students. Thank you for all that you do to make our Hive a wonderful place to learn and grow.
I also want to take this opportunity to say thank you and Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers, grandmothers and mother figures in our district! We appreciate all you do! Enjoy the day!

Annual Budget Vote and Board Elections:
Our annual budget vote and Board of Education elections are right around the corner and our talented Baker film students produced a video that gives an overview of the budget. Check it out here.
Baldwinsville Central School District residents will go to the polls on Tuesday, May 20th to vote on the proposed 2025-2026 school year budget, which maintains programs and staffing while continuing to work toward the district’s goals and mission. Voting will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20th and held at the District Operations Building, located on the main campus.
Our budget newsletter will be arriving in the mailboxes of district residents this weekend. You can check it out now on our website. You can visit our budget website for more information and to download applications for absentee, military and early voter ballots. The Meet the Board of Education Candidates and Public Budget Hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 12th at the District Transportation Center. There are three board seats open for three-year terms. We have three incumbents who are running unopposed: Wayne Davison Jr, Thomas Bull and Sherry (Sam) Schraven. Athletics:
The Arcaro Relays are today at the Pelcher-Arcaro Stadium. It is an invitational for Boys and Girls Outdoor Track that will have more than 30 teams competing here.
Good luck to our Girls Crew Team as they compete in the New York State Scholastic Championships on Sunday in Saratoga Springs.
Boys Tennis will compete in team sectional play next week. Quarterfinals are at home on Monday, May 12th at 4 p.m., if they win, team sectional semifinals are at home on Tuesday, May 13th, and if they advance, team sectional finals are on Wednesday, May 14th at Liverpool.
Boys and Girls Outdoor Track League Championships are at Oswego Middle School on Thursday, May 15th.
